Looking for volunteer domain owners

Some time ago I encountered a problem with this domain, but was able to resolve it with external help. However, current owner is no longer comfortable with that role.
Unless something is done about it the tlmc.eu domain will expire in early 2023.

So, once again I'm looking for a EU citizen (or an owner of a EU-based company) to acquire ownership of this domain and keep pointing it to the same location. You will need to disclose your real name and other info to the EURid and your registrar of choice.
If you're willing to help, please contact me (xmpp: rwx@headcounter.org, preferred) or the current domain owner (removed as no longer applicable).

Added on 20 Jul 2022: The issue is resolved thanks to Thyra.

  2. https://njal.la/ supports .eu domains. You might be able to transfer domain there.

    1. Didn't know about them. Don't think I'll use them, though: more than triple the regular cost of renewal, hassles with CC payments, no clear TOS.

    4. Let's keep the discussion accessible to all our international readers, i.e. in default internet language, shall we?

  4. Sounds like a strong motivation to get v20 out while there's still a reliable domain to host it on.

    1. The blogger subdomain is no less reliable, the problem I'm trying to avoid is dead links.

  5. Why could not you just use .com?

    1. com, net, org and the rest of obvious first-choice picks were already taken, duh.

    2. How about .tv or .xyz?

    3. Well,
      1. It doesn't preserve old links, my main motivator for keeping this domain alive.
      2. It costs more than a generic tld.
      3. The problem is already solved.

  6. If this is still applicable, I can take up this role. I'll just have to see where my xmpp account ended up again (we have spoken before once).

  7. Did you already found one? I could do it if not (you can contact me with EMail under tlmc@alpha272.eu; I don't use xmpp)

    1. We're finishing setting it up, so yes, thanks for the offer, but this is almost resolved.
