I was just checking up on this yesterday. Thank you for all your efforts!
ReplyDeleteOh, my.
ReplyDeleteOh, yay! I have a question though since I'm really new to torrents. I just downloaded the last TLMC yesterday. I ran the update script just now like you said in the root directory. When I download this, will it skip over my existing files (only download the necessary .1 terabytes)?
ReplyDeleteyep
DeleteYay
ReplyDeleteIt happened!
ReplyDeleteIt's time !
ReplyDeleteDoes this include C87 and Reitaisai 12?
ReplyDeleteA little of C87 and no Reitaisai12.
DeleteThank you so much!
ReplyDeleteDoes Deluge work with torrents as big as this, and is it normal for file checking when using the python script method to take forever? 1 hour in and it's checked 3%
ReplyDeleteI don't know, I use rTorrent for seeding and Python script does not influence file checking, it's just a dozen renames.
DeleteDeluge will work for huge files, yes. I know Transmission QT on windows does not, though.
DeleteWell it took me about 3 hours for rTorrent to recheck the files, but it looks like I'm on my way to becoming the 2nd seeder in six hours!
ReplyDeleteOh this is quite nice
ReplyDeleteHas there been a drop in the release rate of some artists, or has there been a drop in the amount of rips being done? I'm ecstatic about a new version, but I imagined it to be a bit heftier than +100GB over v.17.
ReplyDelete"has there been a drop in the amount of rips being done?": Yes, a big drop i'd say. Even if there's a lot of lossless albums (most of them in Flac or Wav), most of the sources are nearly dry and some ppl told me that those who used to rip stuff are hiding their stuff from being shared outside of their forum (or whatever they use).
Delete^ an Example is that i had like 2 accounts full of lossless (and a 3rd one in half way) from the C83, and the last event doesn't even reach one account (i only have 10 albums).
DeleteThat sucks. For what reason do people have to horde the releases for themselves?
Deletethanks. Shame that uTorrent continues to be the only client supporting such a huge torrents under Windows. qBitTorrent crashes as soon as I try to add it.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I use qBitTorrent for everything else, but I keep an old version of uTorrent exclusively for this.
DeleteHave you tried Tixati?
DeleteVuze works just fine for me.
Deleteqbittorrent 3.2.1 worked fine for me.
DeleteWhen I tried with my Chinese Torrent software there was no problem at all.
DeleteJust let us know now, are you going to continue with it, or is it the update and we are on our own from now on?
ReplyDeleteWhat gave you the idea that I was going to stop updates? Anons with flaming posteriors in the previous thread? Nope, I will continue, just don't expect it too often. Definitely not every 4 months and likely not even every year. You see how little we have accumulated since the last time.
Deletehe's alive!
ReplyDelete[Undefined Field]/2009.12.30 キスメ合同企画 [C77]/キスメ合同企画.cue
ReplyDeleteCue file seems to be missing a track 1.
I looked at the original cuesheet, the disc was mixed-mode with first track being data. Supplementary torrent even has its contents. I think there was no way to keep the entry without confusing player cue parsers.
Delete[アールグレイ]\2014.08.16 フランドール・スカーレットの Deep DOKI DOKI Disc Lunatic [C86]
DeleteThe cue file and the tta file have different filenames.
アールグレイ - フランドール スカーレットのディープドキドキディスクルナティック.tta
アールグレイ - フランドール・スカーレットのディープドキドキディスクルナティック.cue
Thanks for noticing, but I don't treat it as an error, since that's how they were named in the original archive and I don't normalize filenames. The cue itself is playable (has correct filename written inside). The jpg has third different filename, by the way.
Delete>that's how they were named in the original archive and I don't normalize filenames.
DeleteWhat "original archive"? Didn't you just make this torrent by combining together a bunch of separate files you had already acquired, by various means? Say, a torrent here, a direct download there, a rip you did yourself there, another torrent here. The only "original archives" would be like some torrent you found the files in, and in that case it could've been ripped by average Joe the weeaboo who was in Japan for that one comiket and didn't know shit about proper ripping metadata. So why honor his original rip when you know there's some errors in it?
I may have misunderstood something about the process, but then again it's not really described anywhere on this site so I can only speculate.

ReplyDeleteI had it before but I deleted all data collected by me. It's easy to get it anyway.
Hi guys! There is a way to collaborate with some stuff I got and there is not in this torrent?
ReplyDeleteSure, upload to some place which doesn't impose ridiculous restrictions on its users (megaupload or mediafire are two examples of good direct download services, but a torrent is always ok too) and post a link.

DeleteSo exciting to see this project can continue, thank you so much for the work.
ReplyDeleteI'm really happy to get an update!
ReplyDeleteI finished download today and will be seeding for as long as I can.
I really appreciate this music collection. Thanks, rwx!
Thank you for keeping true to your promise rwx. My hard drive and network are having a feast. Now hopefully I can find some time this summer to find a way to stream all this tta audio from my DIY NAS...
ReplyDeleteIs this completely legal to download? I don`t like pirating stuff.
ReplyDeleteThen go away
DeleteIt depends on the laws of your country of residence. Unfortunately I am unable to provide legal advice.
Deleteyou're adorable.
DeleteI like pankakes so much now ;_;
ReplyDeleteThank you for your hard work!
I have been waiting patiently for so long~ I love you <3
ReplyDeletecan you guys tell where can i find the vocaloid and kantai full collection torrent....???
ReplyDeletepretty please
Thanks for awesome release rwx!
ReplyDeleteIn case somebody is interested, I'm ripping selected artists for my own small purpose.
http://radio.justarchi.net/music/
1. Splitting TTAs to lossless FLACs according to CUEs
2. Converting those FLACs into lossy Opus-encoded .ogg songs with VBR on and highest compression
3. Proper id3v2 tagging including artist, album and title of the song (useful for various mp3 players including smartphones)
Everything is automated.
Opus gives best results in terms of quality/size and when used with proper flags (such as mine), there is no noticable quality difference.
You should threat it as an alternative to http://otokei-douj.in, I don't like inefficient MP3 format used by them, which takes 3x more size and sounds 2x worse, that's all.
If somebody is too lazy to rip himself and prefers to listen his favourite touhou tracks in "my way", feel free to browse and download what you want.
(Accepting artist requests in case you can't find one, just leave a reply)
I'm posting it here as I was searching for such alternative and couldn't find any, so created it myself. If rwx decides that it's spam/advertisising, just remove it, no hard feelings.
Once again, thanks for awesome release!
My friend, you have very good taste in circles, if I do say so myself.
DeleteThanks, list is still not finished yet! :)
DeleteWould you be able to provide a little insight on how to do this? It would make my life amazing.
DeleteWhat exactly?
DeleteI wrote myself a simple bash script which automates everything.
To not make your life too easy I'll only list you the external tools I'm using in the process:
1. shnsplit (TTA -> FLACs)
2. ffmpeg (FLACs -> Opus OGGs)
3. id3v2 (Tagging OGGs)
http://37.59.58.57/tlmc/
DeleteI went and just did everything.
For the record shnsplit allows you to specify custom encoders, like
shnsplit -O always -o 'cust ext=opus opusenc --vbr --bitrate 128 - %f' -t '%n - %t'
Wow! I made something like that with v17. Made AAC and Opus version with album art. Bitrate ~50kbps,
DeleteFor the record, split2flac will automate the shnsplit and tagging for you (splitting to FLACs and tagging them), and then ffmpeg can transfer those tags automatically into opus files. Allows skipping one step.
DeleteAs a DJ, I'm not a huge fan of TTA because it is not widely supported in software. FLAC is my preferred lossless format. I don't think there's a FLAC collection so the lossy OGG collection is my go to.
Deleteily man

ReplyDeleteI am really curious when does the search tool and the list like in the "http://otokei-douj.in/" is going to back up again, or is it not going to be a list at all this time? The seed is toooooooo big, it takes hour to search one album plus I just dont have a big enough hard drive to download all the tracks.
ReplyDeleteI am really appreciate all the resource and the collection of the Touhou Lossless music.
Thank you for everything that you do.
Awesome.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you're missing one of the albums for CC*=Style, "Toho Trance Vision," but there's a FLAC rip here: http://www.doujinstyle.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=6525o
Also the "Crimson Reflection" album appears to be sourced from MP3s, which is a shame.
Did the seeding for this and the ogg version stop? It'd be a shame for all this to go away
ReplyDeleteGot no seeders currently, and would love if some more people who've finished could help seeding so more of us can finish downloading this awesomeness!
ReplyDeleteI'm actively seeding, furthermore the tracker is up and reports 22 seeds total. So the problem is likely on your side.
ReplyDeletedead forever
ReplyDeletedude, this was updated three months ago, don't expect a lot of uploads like a few years ago.
DeleteI'm really grateful for this.
ReplyDeleteThank you, rwx.

ReplyDeleteAwesome, how do you gather all of those albums ?
ReplyDelete1,35Tb ??? How many Album/Song are there ?!
ReplyDeleteI have some rips from C88 and soon from Reitaisai F2015. Is there an email where I can send you the download links?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the offer. Why not post links here?

By the way, are there any album(s) (which are purchasable online) that you or one of your colleagues desire? I will happily grab and rip them.
So I've just started "verify data" process of ~530 GB worth of previous torrents' data on my first-gen Raspberry Pi on ntfs-3g mounted external drive. Wish me luck, lol.
ReplyDeleteHm, it seems you're missing 東方爆音ジャズ5 and 6 in the Tokyo Active NEETs folder...
ReplyDeleteIt says "unvaild torrent"..why
ReplyDeleteMake sure your torrent size matches description, that is wasn't truncated. Either that or your client is misbehaving.
DeleteUpdate Utorrent or Whatever you are using, that way it'll let you choose what you want to download
DeleteCan you upload bonus CD for Touhou Soccer game?
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I have it. Do google searches show anything?
DeleteNo... nothing... but that CD exists.
DeleteI can give you the tta+cue of 東方爆音ジャズ6, is that okay?
ReplyDeleteSure, please post.
Deletecue for ESQUARIA's 3rd album has all the tracks mixed up. see http://esquaria.net/special/extreme/
ReplyDeleteOk, I'll check it.
DeleteAwesome torrent, got it finished downloading and is now seeding! Now that it is downloaded how do I turn the .ttl files into something I can use on my mp3 player without converting each album to a singular massive .mp3 file?
ReplyDeleteUse something like Foobar2000 or Mediahuman Audio Converter to convert them to MP3 V0 or whatever your preferred lossy format is. To split the files, you will need the .cue files found in the cue files 7zip in the torrent. If you put them in the same directory as the .tta files, you should be able to drag them into your media player for converting.
DeleteI noticed you did not have 東方1人○役4-永夜抄アレンジ曲集 by 和弘法, so here you go:
ReplyDeletehttps://mega.nz/#!9A4gCZgA!M7GUir-WqBhQUc7Ppf2AQbjgbiTTOU4SR-LMuze1Za4
Here's a couple of useful scripts I wrote:
ReplyDeletehttps://gist.github.com/WGH-/2ab69115c325fe689e00#file-fix-py - normalizes DATE and PERFORMER field in .cue fields, so foobar2000 will group them nicely
https://gist.github.com/WGH-/2ab69115c325fe689e00#file-remove_cues_without_audio-py - removes .cue files that point to nonexistent audio file, so if you download the torrent partially, you won't have broken albums in your player. The script is smart enough to warn (and not delete anything) if it finds something else in the directory that might be the audio file with mispelled name (there're a few of those).
No replaygain cue?

ReplyDelete>torrent is too slow to download
DeleteMore likely caused by your torrent settings rather than the swarm state. What are your UP/DOWN limits set to? Number of simultaneous connections? There are also torrent-hostile ISPs, might want to check that.
>please use baidu cloud
Jump through the hoops to use proprietary service which can delete my files any moment? Haha, no thanks.
Is there a way I can contact RWX if I want to help contribute to this project?
ReplyDeleteYes, there is. Leave a comment on the last torrent page.
DeleteOkay, so what are you requirements for submission and how would I go about adding FELT-011, 012, 015, 016, 017, 018, and possibly AMRC-0015? This project has been great for me and I'd like to give a little back :) Do you just need a Mega link or something in the comments here?
DeleteJust post a link to any source that doesn't require extraordinary effort to download. Mega is fine.
DeleteThese cuesheets don't have a TITLE and PERFORMER:
ReplyDelete[大将(がっかり軍)]/2007.11.04 東方紅楼夢3アフターイベント景品アレンジCD [東方紅楼夢3]/CDImage.cue
[FIGHTING DREAMERS]/2010.05.23 [FD-002] 夢想封印 -戦- [東方夢追戦 -第二章-]/FD-002.cue
Thanks for noticing, but in the current state of the torrent it's of little use: I think hundreds of albums don't have them.
DeleteAy,
ReplyDeleteI've taken a look a the python script and noticed a bug: on lines 882/883 you have the single character "\201", which is (probably) meant to be the 4 characters "/201".
There are many more things I would change about the script if I had write access to it but since I'm very involved in this project I don't think I'll trouble you with it.
*Not very involved
DeleteOh crap, you're right. Thanks, fixed the wrong backslash and updated the main post.
DeleteHey, you might want to change your game soundtracks link to a different site, like Moriya Shrine. re[Persona] has shut down their website.
ReplyDeleteHi there. I'm unable to download anything from the scans torrent; tracker is dead. Any way to get stuff from it? Cheers.
ReplyDeleteUse a torrent client with DHT support
DeleteI used a torrent client with DHT support and it still didn't work.
DeleteHi! Sorry to be a bother but I'm not too great with torrents. I know how to use them but Yeah. Mainly... I have the V.17 version from 2 years ago. But I don't have the torrent file anymore that i used to download originally. Do I need that file to run the script? Or is there away to bypass the script with the new torrent file, like to be able to check what I currently have and download what I don't?
ReplyDeleteYou don't need the original torrent. You can run the script, it only renames and deletes some files. Then load the latest torrent in your client, pointing it at the existing files. It should figure out what you already have and what has to be downloaded. If you want to be completely sure, add the torrent in paused/stopped state and find the button that says something like "force recheck" or "verify".
Deletecant find "[C85] Shibayan Records - RETRO FUTURE GIRLS" in the 1.35 T files. do u have a name list that can easily filter to find?
ReplyDeleteIt's not there. You can have my rip: http://www.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=586185

ReplyDeleteThank you, really appreciate for this!
ReplyDeleterwx, What's the status? Dropped? In progress? Maybe?
ReplyDeletePlanned for June-August 2017. There isn't much new stuff to justify even yearly releases.
DeleteCould you make a script to not download any folder from v18 but only v19?
DeleteUr doing a great work.
Umm, unless I grossly misunderstood what you wanted, no, I can't. I mean, what gets downloaded is controlled by your torrent client and most of them don't support script control of any kind.
DeleteThe TLMC is amazing. I've got ~9000 songs by picking the folders containing circles I know are good. Listening to this stuff everyday is amazing. I've got it set up so it's only randomly sorted once and I listen from beginning to end, resuming after each session. I've got the album art viewer set up in Foobar2000 as well.
ReplyDeleteMy next plan is to go through all the circles and sort them based on how much I like them. This would be done by listening to randomly 5% of each circle's songs and deciding if they're good. This seems like a lot of work (I've got over 1200 circles left to go) so I might use machine learning such as DeepLearning4J and Python for audio spectrogram generation to do the sorting for me based on sorting I've already done. I read some whitepapers and seems like spectrogram analysis via convolutional neural networks are the way to go, at least for now.
Thanks many for the TLMC. I've already listened to all 46K songs from TLMC v.17. I gotta say, UFO County is really bad. The amount of listening on the TLMC I've done so far equates to about 50,000 songs.
@DangerMan you should get the Playback Statistics (foo_playcount) plugin for Foobar2000, it lets you select a rating for songs and you can set it to a hotkey.

Thanks for the share.
DeleteSaw your comment with no context "Planned for June-August 2017." Does this mean v19 will drop in 2017?
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't without context, it was a reply to someone asking about next release date. So, if by "drop" you mean "gets released", then yeah, it'll drop in 2017.
Deletelooking forward to it. Cheers for the hard work
DeleteReally appreciate your hard work! :) Let's keep this going!
DeleteIs it legal to download? I live in Germany, so there can be copyright issues.
ReplyDeleteyes,it's illegal
DeleteSomebody should make a patch torrent, for between TLMC v 17 and latest Comiket. We have huge void of item at the moment.
ReplyDeleteHell, I can't find 深秘的楽曲集 宇佐見菫子と秘密の部室 anywhere, and this is official ZUN's release (with Twilight Frontier)
What exactly is in the third, "supplementary" torrent? Browsed briefly and saw some random mp3s among other stuff. Could we not find lossless versions of those files?
ReplyDeleteOn a related note, is there a list somewhere of missing entries that we either don't have any uploads in lossless or don't have at all?
>What exactly is in the third, "supplementary" torrent?
DeleteEverything that is not in main (lossless albums) and not in picture torrent (cover scans). Additional stuff. The mp3 files, for example, probably were on the data track of the CD as a bonus from the circle.
>missing entries
A shitton of them. It's not like this torrent is 99% complete, so it makes little sense to keep an evergrowing list.
Right, I guess I'm just confused why anything from a CD, including bonus data tracks and stuff, would be in a lossy format like mp3. If it was ripped from a CD then why would the ripper losslessly encode the main tracks but not the bonus ones?
Delete>missing entries
I mean, without a list, those missing entries will probably never get filled. You rely entirely on people basically coming up and dropping links on this page in the comments, which is a miniscule amount. Otherwise you have to do all the searching yourself (or with a limited group of other tlmc maintainers). So while it would take some work to maintain a list, it would also save you that work of scouring every corner of the web, because I'm sure you'd get a lot more outside contributors if they didn't have to guess if their suggestion was redundant or "is it worth buying and contributing this obscure album, or is it gonna be released in the next tlmc version anyway?"
I don't know, the community just seems to be fractured and inefficient wrt this, scattered across different forums and sites. I just wish there was a straightforward way for everyone to help so the burdern isn't just on a handful of rippers' and content disseminators' shoulders, which can lead to burnout. There are files that sometimes exist only in remote corners of the web for like a week or two (not everyone who originally acquires and uploads these things are competent), then become dead links and are never heard from again, just sitting on some dude's hard drive who happened to download them during that time window but has no idea they're now unavailable or that there would be interest in them. Granted, I don't know how possible it is to mobilize these kind of people. And if the missing entries are >25% or something then I get why it just seems too big a problem to tackle. But even a "missing entries from X popular circle" or "missing entries released in 2016" would be a start. And if it gets little attention then we know not to waste time on that approach in the future.
I'll add a link if you decide to organize such a list. Personally, I predict nearly zero value + nonzero (which seems quite substantial to me) amount of work to maintain it, but I'm not against it, if someone else volunteers and wants to do it.
DeleteOk now I'm hyped for a new tlmc release, rwx.
ReplyDeleteHi, Whinette.
DeletePlease don't be. PD releases just stopped one and a half torrents ago, so everything new I have at the moment (90 GB) is from doujinstyle googlesheet download lists, and a third of the links there were already dead. Also, a huge chunk of the albums are split tracks (luckily with EAC logs), so I need to merge them if logs indicate it's ok to do so.
Hi
ReplyDeleteI don't Download it(since I don't have time to listen to all of them) but thanks for your hard work.
Does the (dead) link to game OSTs at the top of this page imply they're NOT in this torrent? Anons on /jp/ said they WERE included under Team Shanghai Alice folder, but I don't see their cuesheets there (at least not for EoSD and PCB).
ReplyDeleteThey are not in TLMC. Those OSTs are partially game sound rip+loop+fadeouts and partially captures, possibly even using original PC98 hardware (I don't remember the details, read the author's explanation long ago).
DeleteGet it here: https://www.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=464394
I tried to download the torrent and utorrent is telling me it's an invalid file. Why is this happening?
ReplyDeleteMaybe an incomplete file? Redownload and check if its size is correct.
DeleteIs this available somewhere right now? Can't find the torrent seeded anywhere.
ReplyDeleteHello there. I wanted to ask a question and to thank you. While I can't get this yet because I still lack a hard disk big enough, the work under this is great and really appreciated.
ReplyDeleteThen, I wanted to know if there will be a new release for this, a version 19, with stuff past 2015 and up to closer times (the dream would be Reitaisai14 from this month, but that's just too impossible. Comiket91 also seems farfetched, but one can dream and hope!). I don't really know how much work truly this requires, but I sure as hell can imagine, so I can only frown when thinking about all the exhaustion from making a new addition to the already gigantic torrent. However, I still felt like asking, as I'm very curious to know if I'll be able to, one day, get this and hope for a version that's closer to the end of the download than 2015.
Thank you very much again!!! ♥
You're making it sound like adding stuff to the torrent gets harder with its increasing size :)
DeleteEarlier I've planned a v.19 release for June-August 2017. I'm sticking with this schedule for now, though August looks most likely.
Hi rwx, I'd like to contribute more albums in the future, but had a question about cuesheets.
ReplyDeleteDo you accept cuesheets that have been edited to support UTF-8 characters? When I rip an album EAC creates a cuesheet that only supports ANSI characters, and sometimes this can mess up any track titles with Unicode characters. Just wondering if I should edit the cuesheet to have the "correct" track titles or leave it just the way it is (inaccuracies and all).
Hi.
DeleteI convert all cuesheets into UTF-8 (with BOM), so no worries here.
Thanks for letting me know!
DeleteI found a forum thread that explains how to convert cuesheets to UTF-8 with BOM, so that takes care of my problem.
Hey! Thanks for the updated version. I've found a couple of issues. I'm not able to extract the .tta in these because the .cue is bugged =(

Hi. You're wrong, though, I've re-checked these cue sheets just in case, and they are all fine. Might be a problem with the software you're using to split the files.
DeleteI tried it with Cutetools, Foobar2k, MusicBee and Medieval CUE Splitter.
DeleteThis is how it looks like when I try to read the bugged cues. https://puu.sh/wdlES/9ea07b4790.jpg https://puu.sh/wdlFu/8aec233d6a.jpg https://puu.sh/wdlHJ/236178db6a.jpg

Ow. Now THAT looks like a problem with your filesystem. The cue should not be empty. Verify the .7z archive, reextract it somewhere else and see for yourself.
DeleteAnd then fsck/chkdsk the FS.
oh yeah, the cue looks fine, but it's glitched and won't split the files because of the index at the start.
Deleteexample 1:
TRACK 01 AUDIO
TITLE "song for bird"
PERFORMER "リツカ"
INDEX 01 00:02:00
In this case, it has to be 00:00:00. That's why Cuetools or any other software won't split it.
Ops I forgot to mention, after re-downloading everything, some worked while others didn't.

These are the bugged ones with invalid indexes etc =)
>In this case, it has to be 00:00:00.
DeleteNo, it does not. The cuesheet standard is not the most well-documented one, so I can't just ask you to show me this requirement in its specification, but anything that cannot handle metadata that explicitly indicates non-zero first track offset probably contains so many other unsubstantiated assumptions that it is effectively broken. Use better tools.
>These are the bugged ones with invalid indexes
I loaded all these cuesheets in foobar and every single one opened just fine. The problem is on your end.
Playback is fine but what tools do you use to split the cue? I'll try the same
DeleteTry splitting and converting in foobar.
DeleteI don't use anything and just play files through cues.
Splitting works in Foobar on some of the cues but out of curiosity, why don't you split? Are there any benefits to not splitting, I'm curious
DeleteBut that would just create a useless copy of the data I already have. Or do you mean initially, before the torrent was created? Then it's for the purpose of keeping data and metadata separate.
DeleteHmm so splitting it reduces the quality and data?
DeleteNo, the issue is not with the quality. Modifying data according to metadata creates a dependency relationship between them, which would need to be disentangled later, should a fix to the metadata be desired. In other words, if someone notices the wrong track timing or mistyped song/artist name then I can just fix the cue file, whereas if the files were split I'd have to mess with the torrent content itself.
Deleteoh good to hear, the .cue for 2013.08.12 [ARCD-0041.1] REBIRTH DANCEHALL [C84] is bugged https://puu.sh/wfBqT/dc54c8476a.jpg

After scrolling through the album image collection I noticed that not all album arts follow the same filname system. Could you make a patch for the outliers or a list of all exceptions, so that it's easier to attatch/associate the front covers to the music files via batch operation.
ReplyDeleteSo far ' *1.jpg ' will work for most files, but I saw that for some albums the images start with something like IMG.jpg instead of IMG001.jpg like the rest. There are some exceptions that don't use any system at all as well.
I'm afraid I can't, because I don't have the necessary metadata. In fact the filenames here are all the metadata I have. The rest would have to be done manually, which I'm not prepared to do at the moment.
DeleteIn other news I should seriously move away from google-hosted blog platform, because these fucks keep randomly denying my logins and demanding my phone number.
ReplyDeleteis it possible to get Bad apple, sang by Meramipop, arranged by yuyoyuppe ?
ReplyDeleteI dunno, you tell me.
DeleteHello there, I am surprised about finding something that big on the Internet :3
ReplyDeleteCould you please answer some of my questions about this torrent please.
What kind of ost(bgm) are there, like are they all originals or, covers etc ?
Is there an mp3 or flac version of it ?
I have noticed that the music are like an album form is it possible to devide them ?
Sorry if I bothered you with all my quistions but i need to know if it's woth the download because 1.34 tb torrent isn't something small.
Thats it thank and I wish for you all the luck :)
actually you dont need to download them all, if you are using Utorrent you can actually choose which album artist that you want to download(halozy, tutti sound, IOSYS.....)when you open up the .torrent files.....and dont forget to download the cue sheet too.
Deletei dont think there's bgm(from what i have downloaded so far)
this torrent comes with TTA which you can later convert it to flac or mp3 (don't worry tta is lossless)
yes, it's possible to split them via CueTools (http://cue.tools/wiki/CUETools_Download)
to spilt the tta to flac make sure your cue files are in the same directory and make sure you run CUETools instead of CUERipper, in the cuetools click the dropdown box at the right of the input and select multiselect browser, and you need to navigate to the location that you have downloaded and choose the album that you want to spilt, and make SURE THE MODE IS SET TO "TRACKS" and the audio output to lossless if you want to convert it to FLAC and lossy if you want to convert it to mp3 and the number to 8 and press go, the converted muse should be in your music directory > converted
>What kind of ost(bgm) are there, like are they all originals or, covers etc ?
DeleteCovers of touhou music. Original BGM is not included.
>Is there an mp3 or flac version of it ?
Try nyaa for mp3, there is no flac afaik but you can always reencode.
>I have noticed that the music are like an album form is it possible to devide them ?
Probably what Anonymous above me described, can't advise which tools are good.
A piece of bad news: date slip. Even though I'm spending a fair chunk of each weekend on sorting files, I estimate higher that 50% chance that next release won't be finished in August, as I originally planned.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that you are working on it!
DeleteThose are some good news, because it means we'll get a new release soon. ganbare~
DeleteI have about 60 Mbps seed capacity available for the new torrent.
DeleteI'm guessing that 3 months later means you've taken a break?
DeleteIf the sorting truly causes that lengthy of an issue, are there chances of a partially finished release?
I'd be willing to bet that the large majority of us downloading TLMC over the years wouldn't have much trouble sorting new albums. Finding links and sources that haven't been taken down for every one of the circles we're interested in is the harder part.
>I'm guessing that 3 months later means you've taken a break?
DeleteNo.
>If the sorting truly causes that lengthy of an issue, are there chances of a partially finished release?
I'd rather delay than dump something half-done.
>I'd be willing to bet that the large majority of us downloading TLMC over the years wouldn't have much trouble sorting new albums. Finding links and sources that haven't been taken down for every one of the circles we're interested in is the harder part.
TLMC is a collection, not a pile of "!unsorted" stuff. If I just threw together some files you'd have to deal with unplayable cuesheets, at least 5 different cuesheet encodings, archives with passwords, wrong track, album and artist names, at least 6 different lossless formats (arguably, this one is the least problematic of all), and maybe something else I forgot. Some are OK with that, but these problems would require effort to fix or willpower to ignore from every single user. Sorry, but it's not happening.
I offer you a deal. If there is no new TLMC by the end of 2017 you may call me "Super slow king of slowpokes" and I won't disagree.
I appreciate the reply even if I was being cynical. Appreciate the work still.
DeleteThere's a reminder on my phone's calendar titled "Super slow king of slowpokes".
Take your time, ignore everyone else until you're comfortable with the result and then release it.
DeleteThis might be a silly question, but what do you do about albums that you can't find lossless version of, but you find a lossy one? I wonder if it's worth creating a separate lossy torrent just for such cases, with hopes of finding the lossless versions of them in the future and removing them from the lossy torrent.
ReplyDelete>what do you do about albums that you can't find lossless version of, but you find a lossy one?
DeleteShrug and move along.
>I wonder if it's worth creating a separate lossy torrent
I'm not interested in maintaining one, but see no harm in linking to it if someone does it.
Is there some backup website for the unlikely case Blogger takes down this blog, domain expires, etc.? Worried seeing how actively touhou videos get taken down on youtube. If there is no such backup at the moment, if such a thing does happen, could you provide an update about a new home for tlmc project on 4chan's /jp/ so that we could find it using one of several /jp/ board archives?
ReplyDelete>Is there some backup website for the unlikely case Blogger takes down this blog
DeleteNope. I'll use another blog or something if they do.
>domain expires
Shouldn't happen, still if it does I'll post on /jp/ if I'm alive.
